Goodpubs.org is a fellowship of pubs and bar restaurants in the UK with websites. The sole qualification for inclusion on this site is a website that is fully managed by the pub listed.
Thus this website's value to the user is that it provides a geographical breakdown of pubs and bar restaurants on the internet allowing locals and travelers to get full details of pubs by town and county by gaining full access to that pubs own web site. In addition there is a blog which allow anybody to update information on a pub ensuring timely news updates on that business. Also this site effectively connects all the bars and restaurants on it to each other.
This will make a massive web community which can only help the web presence of every public house via it's website. Naturally the mix of pubs here is vast from single bar games pubs to grand restaurants. Throughout history public houses have served the multiple needs of ale house, community centre, shelter for travelers and purveyors of food. Even in today's electronic society they still do that. Of course the stables have been replaced by car parks, the beer is seldom brewed ‘in house' and sadly sky sports has replaced traveling vaudeville.
Any pub with a website can email
us with details and it will be included. Pubs that do not have a
web presence may get one. Please

We developed a range of signs to demonstrate the main feature of a particular pub. As an example we would use the parking sign in town but assume there is parking in the country . Generally the rule is no more than four signs for one premise. The signs are on the right |
